In a time when it seems everything is disposable and nothing is built to last, it is comforting to know that at least one company still believes in a quality product from which you can get your money’s worth. Having been the northern Michigan Ricoh® dealer since 1982, our customers can be secure in the knowledge that we have an intimate understanding of the products we sell. They also know we can support their machine through out its life. And when the time comes to replace the machine, they know they will be able to get another familiar, quality machine.
We have a motto at Van's: "Service is Our Profession". We take this to heart, believing firmly that service is what we sell, and that it is our service that sets us apart from our competition. Anyone can sell a machine that ‘makes a mark on a piece of paper’, but not just anyone can claim over 25 years experience selling the same brand of quality machines. Every year, we build upon a legacy of quality service and a rich understanding of how local business is done.
Service Technicians
These are the men that make up our service team. Each brings unique experience and expertise to our company.
Bruce:
Our Service Manager Bruce has fifteen years experience as a trained Ricoh technician. He was born and raised in Indian River, where he once again resides. Bruce has been with Van’s for fifteen years.
Kevin:
The youngest of our technicians, Kevin, has been with us for five years. He worked for a copier dealer in Grand Rapids before moving up to Charlevoix and joining our business. He has nine years experience as a copier technician, with five years as a Ricoh trained service tech.
Oliver:
Oliver is our most recent service technician. He moved from Sault St. Mary to Cheboygan, coming from the upper peninsula Ricoh dealer, Sault Printing. He brings fourteen years experience servicing Ricoh machines and has been with us for three years.
